Event Description
Desertification and Drought Day 鈥� until this year known as The World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought 鈥� is observed every year to promote public awareness of national and international efforts to combat desertification. The day is a unique moment to remind everyone that land degradation neutrality is achievable through problem-solving, strong community involvement and co-operation at all levels.
Join us for this upcoming webinar to inject optimism and spur action on achieving land degradation neutrality in Kyrgyzstan. Distinguished experts will give a short overview of the recent land degradation trends in Kyrgyzstan, present initiatives on combating land degradation and discuss sustainable land use practices and approaches.
