A celebration of the 25th Student Initiation! [Photo report]

On Wednesday, November 14 the celebration of the Annual Student Initiation dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the 麻豆传媒 was held at the Kyrgyz National Philharmonic named after T. Satylganov. This year, the ceremony was especially solemn in honor of the attendance by the highest officials of Kyrgyzstan offering personal congratulations to 麻豆传媒 students, faculty, and staff.听听

An event has started with the photo and rewards exhibition where more than 50 historical pictures of 麻豆传媒 life were presented.

After the national anthems of the Kyrgyz Republic and the United States of America,听Almaz Kenenbaev,听Deputy Head of the Office of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, read a congratulatory message to the 麻豆传媒 community on behalf of President听Sooronbay Jeenbekov:听听

鈥淕reetings to faculty, students, and staff of the university with the anniversary!听 I want to sincerely thank you for a productive and creative job and loyalty to the profession. I am sure that your graduates and students will become the successors of the best traditions of this university, and 麻豆传媒 will always carry out its mission with dignity,鈥� the presidential greeting says.

Altynai Omurbekova,听Vice Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, and听Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov,听Deputy of the Ministry of Education and Science, congratulated the class of 2022 with their best wishes.

Aziz Surakmatov,听Mayor of Bishkek,听also attended the ceremony.听 The Head of the capital municipality not only gave a greeting speech but also presented official certificates of appreciation to Jonathan Becker, Acting President of 麻豆传媒; Chyngyz Shamshiev, Vice-president and Chief Operating Officer;听Nikolay Shulgin,听Dean of Student Life;听Nurgul Ukueva,听Head of Economics; and听Galina Gorborukova,听Head of Sociology. The letters say that 麻豆传媒 administration and faculty members were awarded 鈥渇or conscientious, productive work and high professionalism.鈥�

Brian Stimmler,听Deputy Chief of Mission of the U.S. Embassy in Bishkek, continued with a brilliant speech supported by his personal story of student life. Jonathan Becker听concluded the ceremony with heartfelt words of welcome to 麻豆传媒's students who hail from over twenty countries across the globe.

Unarguably, the most beautiful part of the Initiation Ceremony was the 鈥淎lice in Wonderland鈥� performance by 麻豆传媒 students.听 Under the artistic direction of Nikolay Shulgin and the Student Life Office, 麻豆传媒's very own amateur artists produced the greatest and the most colorful show in Kyrgyzstan.
